About

Hey! I'm Rachel, 18, a question mark incarnate from Kingston, Jamaica. I'm currently in my last year of high school, meaning things are about to (supposed to) change exponentially. After eighteen years of uniforms and other people's money, though, I'm equal parts anxious and excited to flounder into adulthood. But as much as 16 year old me wanted to be sure of everything, right now, I'm just trying to figure things out. Until then, at least, I can pretend I'm in a Wong Kar Wai film.

What I can tell you, though is that I love, love love love movies, art, history and writing, my interests are all over the place and I have more incoherent opinions about them than I do cells and being an alternative mixed girl is kind of a bumpy ride.

The Late Night Picture Show is where I write about the beginning of the rest of my life. While it'd be nice to give it a definite genre, I'm just going to appreciate the fact that this isn't a psychological ero-thriller or something. That being said, I just hope there'll be a journey in all of this.

That pretty much guarantees that the real treasure at the end is friendship.
